Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This position reports to the Regional Finance Director .

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions for multiple locations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all locations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Manage the month-end close process and ensure all accounts are reconciled and closed in a timely manner.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including variance analysis and trend analysis, and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including GAAP and tax laws.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the regional roll department.

- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

- Collaborate with other departments, including operations and human resources, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

- CPA or CMA certification preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax laws.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Oracle, is preferred.

- More experienced candidates will be considered as Assistant Accounting Manager.
